Following on from last week’s announcement that Conor Newton had penned a new deal, the club is delighted to announce that exciting forward Scott has also committed his future to the Glebe.
Scott, who bagged six goals last season before it was prematurely suspended, can operate either through the middle or as a wide forward. He was part of a pacy frontline last season as he built on his successful first campaign with the club.
Manager Mark Convery said: “We’re delighted to secure Scott for the upcoming season, adding to the good news about Conor.
“Both players have been a big part of the team since I came in and are massive part of what we are trying to achieve at Whickham.”
Scott joined the club in August 2019 after a very successful two years with the Park View Academy of Sport, where he won the National Youth League and National Youth Cup. He has also appeared for Chester-le-Street.
