Whickham welcome West Allotment Celtic

Whickham return to action this weekend as they welcome West Allotment Celtic to The Glebe after the recent hiatus in football following the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

The fixture could see some players return to the squad following time on the sidelines.

Tony Fawcett will be looking to change the Lang Jacks fortunes around after a blip in form following two consecutive league defeats.

The opponents from Palmersville have already played 10 league games this campaign, two more than Whickham.

The Lang Jacks are in for a tough test against a team who have won their last 3 games, all of which at home.

Mechack Kanda and Callum Larmouth have three goals apiece in the league this campaign, players Whickham will have to resist the threat of.

Kick off is 3pm Saturday at The First Mortgage Glebe.
