Whickham will make the journey to the Durham Coast this weekend as we take on Seaham Red Star.
Red Star have had a tough campaign so far having won just two league games and sit second bottom.
A tough test will await however with the hosts not doing any worse losing by more than one goal in their last nine games, six of which they have drawn or won.
Seaham lost on Tuesday evening 4-3 at Newcastle Benfield in a dramatic game.
Summer signing Bradley Chisholm leads the line in place of the absent Adam Lennox, last season’s top scorer. Chisholm has three goals so far this season.
Right back Joshua Baggs, who has had interest from Salford City in recent time, will be a player who the Lang Jacks will look to nullify.
Manager Mark Collingwood recently surpassed a Seaham record of managing 363 games for the club, which he has done over a 10 year period.
Whickham travel south on the back of last weekend’s disappointing FA Vase exit in Cumbria to Holker Old Boys.
New signing Sam Dibb-Fuller made his Lang Jacks debut from the bench and set up Nathan Greenwood moments after coming on.
Kick off 3pm, Saturday 22nd October – Independent Utility Advise Arena.
