After a two game absence, Whickham return home on Saturday as we face Redcar Athletic in the EBAC Northern League.

The visitors sit one place below us in 12th and were beaten 6-2 at home to Newcastle Benfield on Saturday.

Redcar games this season have rarely been dull with 67 goals having been scored in games involving the Steelmen – in 15 games.

Striker Isaac Walker is one of the league’s leading goal scorers with 13 goals so far.

New signing Mason McNeill, a versatile player who can play anywhere on the pitch, could make his debut after completing a move from Thornaby last week.

Whickham will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 4-1 defeat at Ashington in midweek.

Multiple new injuries has Tony Fawcett’s squad at full stretch; as Jack Moody, Kieran Galbraith and Nathan Greenwood are all set for a spell on the sidelines.
