Midweek Cup Quarter-Final Ahead

The Durham Challenge Cup returns as we take on Hebburn Town in the Quarter-Final at The Green Energy Sports Ground.

The fixture was due to initially be played at The Glebe but was twice postponed so the fixture has been reversed, as per competition rules.

The hosts are enjoying a successful campaign so far as they sit in the play-off places in the Northern Premier League East.

The hornets look to Olly Martin and Amar Purewal for goals as they have 20 between them so far this season.

The two-time Durham Challenge cup winners have beaten Jarrow and Horden so far on their way to meeting the Lang Jacks.

Whickham are looking to build on their hard-fought win against Tow Law Town at the weekend.

New signing Gabriel Bada isn’t allowed to play due to being duel-registered with Hebburn.

Seaham Red Star and Dunston are already through the semi-final stage, with Spennymoor or Bishop Auckland making up the other spot.

Tuesday 17th January – 19:30 kick off – The Green Energy Sports Ground

Adults – £6

Concessions – £4

Under 16 – £2
