Bishop Auckland showed their pedigree at The Glebe on Saturday as they beat Whickham 3-0.
Marcus Giles scored the first and third for Bishop, both in the second half.
Louis Johnson scored the second of the afternoon for his team.
Within a quiet first half, The Lang Jacks had the best and only real chance as Sam Dibb-Fuller drove down the left wing and found Kyle Patton inside the area whose first shot was blocked and the second went narrowly wide from a tight angle.
The visitors took the lead just minutes after the break as Callum Patton threaded a pass to Marcus Giles who struck under the out-rushing Nathan Harker.
The second came on the hour mark as Louis Johnson beat Dom Agnew and then finished into the bottom corner.
The game was wrapped up with 20 minutes to go as Giles beat Garon Garside and finished from 8 yards into the bottom right corner.
