Whickham have been drawn at home in the second round of the FA Vase against fellow Northern League side Redcar Athletic.
The Lang Jacks enter the competition at this stage having avoided the earlier rounds due to our excellent performance last season, where we reached the fifth round.
Redcar will present a huge challenge for Tony Fawcett’s side. They currently lead the Northern League Division One standings and were 4-0 victors against us earlier this month.
The tie will be played at the First Mortgage Glebe on Saturday 9th November.
