The Bay drew 1-1 against Guisborough Town last weekend.
What the opposition are saying
Following Saturday’s draw with Guisborough, Whitley Bay manager Jay Bates said: “You look at our next three games and would think they’re winnable, but when you look at today’s results, they’re tough, every game’s tough.
“With players injured, suspended and with other commitments, it’s difficult with all the chopping and changing, but it’ll be like that for many teams at this time of the year.”
Last time out
The two sides last met on the opening day of the season, with Whitley Bay winning a close game.
Levi Collins put the Lang Jacks ahead in the 34th minute before Bay captain Mikel Thompson scored a double in the 79th and 92nd minute, respectively to give his side all three points in a 2-1 win.
