Whickham FC are delighted to announce that we have taken up the option on three first team players ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Callum Munro, Cameron Brewis and Sam Johnson have all had their contract extensions activated by the Lang Jacks ahead of next season.
Munro, who won the players’ and manager’s player of the season award for the Lang Jacks appeared in all 42 league games for Whickham in his second season with the club.
Brewis played 25 times and scored three goals for the Lang Jacks last season. He joined the club from Whitley Bay last summer.
Johnson scored nine times in 33 appearances for Tony Fawcett’s side over the course of last season. The England Schoolboy will be starting his third campaign at the First Mortgage Glebe.
Manager Tony Fawcett said: “I’m delighted that we have all three players for next season. They all played a crucial role in the side and we are happy to keep investing in them as we look to build our squad around them.”
