Tom Scothern

Tom is the second player to arrive at the club from Sunderland’s Academy, where he made 16 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League. After impressing management during pre-season, Scothern will be hoping to make a real impact for Whickham this season. 

Ross Peareth

Ross is the captain of Whickham and leads by example in the middle of the park. The midfielder is a tough-tackler and enjoys picking passes out and starting attacks for his team. Peareth is also the longest-serving player at the club. 

Dale Burrell

A playmaker in the middle of the park, Dale is now entering his second season with the club and will be a real leader in the middle of the park. The midfielder enjoys the ball at his feet and also chips in with goals at crucial times. 

Tom Howard

The former Sunderland youngster has proved to be an excellent addition and has really impressed since arriving in the summer. The full-back can get forward with ease, but is also a fantastic defender and will be one to watch this season. 

Kieran Galbraith

Regarded as one of the best centre-backs in the Northern League, Kieran was another summer addition, arriving from Division One rivals, Bishop Auckland. The defender is a leader at the back and is excellent both in the air and also in the tackle.
